Dreamers of the Day |
This is a place for thoughts that inspire, issues that tug on my heart, and stories about social justice and - most often - Detroit. This is a place for activists and social workers and readers and lovers and those who live by their heart. This is a place for dreamers to dream with open eyes and make them come true. |
Bless you boys. :)

Everyone who loves Detroit needs to watch this. Blair was a wonderful poet and a wonderful person.

Cafe Con Leche

Southwest Detroit is brimming with vibrancy and culture, and Cafe con Leche is no exception. Its wide windows open to Clark Park, perfect for people watching. The small shop’s seating is almost always filled with friends talking, students studying, conversations and interviews galore. You step in and immediately feel the warmth of community as Jordi greets you from behind the counter.
Clearly, I have nothing but rave reviews for this place. If you ever need a coffee date or a study buddy, hit me up, because I’ll probably be here anyways.
[Cafe con Leche is located at the corner of Scotten and W. Vernor in Southwest Detroit. Also visit their Facebook page!]
